My friend from Calgary had a low km/h speedometer and wanted me to convert it to a high kilometer face and calibrate it to read correctly. He also wanted the same logo as his tach so they would match.

This is a new, reproduction '68 to '71 speedometer face, to which I have added kilometers for those of you who live in areas where km/h is used. I can either provide you with the face plate, or add the km/h graphics to your existing face.

My customer wanted his 85 MPH Speedometer converted to a 140, and calibrated to read correctly. The 140 normally came with the kilometers in blue, and had a Corvette logo that was standard to the 140. He asked if I could make the kilometers in orange like his 85 MPH speedo and change the logo to match the one on his Tach. He was pleased with the finished product.

My customer found what he thought was an unrestorable Tach, but he took a chance and sent it. He'd just put in a high HP crate engine and asked if this could be restored and if I could change it to reflect a 6500 Red Line, (which was unavailable in those years, 80 to 82). It just needed some TLC and a quality new circuit board and it looks great, and works perfectly.
